For the Artist in You
Pablo Picasso said, “every child is an artist.” While that doesn’t necessarily mean every child will be the next Picasso or Da Vinci, it doesn’t take away from his message that everyone, not just children, have a creative energy in them. Sometimes it takes just a small push to find your muse, your purpose, to create something wonderful. The wonderful thing about our creative spark, is that it always leads to more and more, and sometimes down the line we find a purpose we never knew we had in us.

Where Do I Start?
So you want to explore your creative side but you aren’t sure where to start? The good thing about creativity is that it is in everything! First, decide what types of things you’d like to focus on. If you enjoy writing, then you may enjoy bullet journaling or writing fiction stories. Perhaps you like working with tools. If so, you might take up crafts with wood like building something! For those who enjoy design, you can take up interior designing. Other ways to explore your creativity can be through more traditional methods like drawing and painting. If you enjoy traveling, you might take up photography or travel blogging. You can even explore your creativity through cooking, perhaps by creating your own dishes or creating a cooking blog.
After you find what it is you want to do, then just take the time to do it! Find a quiet space and give yourself the free time to allow you to explore.

What Then?
With today’s active social media lifestyles, you can find your niche no matter what it is. There is literally something for everyone. Whatever it is that you love to do, there is a community of others doing it too! You don’t have to be a painter to spark your creative mind. Simply reading a book can give you great insight into your life and lead your mind to think of brilliant ideas. Whatever it is you enjoy doing, pursue it, do it, write about it, draw it, and share it with others!
